Hi Melissa,Scott and Kate,

Earlier this year, we followed the journey of a Boise couple - friends of a friend - going to China for their daughter. So, we were somewhat familiar with the timeline and what would happen.

What we weren't expecting was to feel your awe and your joy coming right through the computer screen. Both of you are such wonderful writers and documentarians. It is as if we've had a little window into your lives and shared your experience of meeting the daughter of your hearts.

I cannot tell you just how precious Kate looks. That hair is a riot and she seems like she'll be a cuddle-bug, too. Sorry about the congestion and know you'll stay on top of it.

Thank you for sharing this part of your lives with us. Please keep us updated with pictures and cute stories when you all return.
