A big thank you to Nana Hillcher and her family for hosting us on Thanksgiving. We enjoyed spending time with Grandma and Grandpa Braun, Kay, Harold and Heather, Laura, Ryan and Billio.
Kate had a blast entertaining everyone, using their cell phones and receiving unprecedented love and attention. Scott and I enjoyed watching all of it and eating a full meal while it was hot.
Today, Kate meant Santa -- or at least one of his representatives. Let me say that, come time for his performance review, I think he'll be out on his keister! He didn't smile, talk or even try to set her at ease! Kate was so excited about him and approached him with smiles and baby talk. On his lap, when she saw that he was colder than a statue, she started to fuss. Santa asked Mama to make her smile. I wanted to say, YOU might want to start acting a little jolly yourself, fat man. As I was trying to be polite, I refrained.
Grandma and Grandpa Braun are heading back to Michigan until late December. We can't wait to see them again. The outfits and toys are really neat, but the hugs, kisses and attention are AWESOME.
The rest of the weekend will be with Grandma and Grandpa Puschmann (mama's mom and stepdad). We're looking forward to the zoo and lots of TLC.
